abin requires guests to walk down 4-7 steps (solar lights provide lighting at night time). There are two sets of stairs in the house that are both narrow and steep. Two bedrooms and one bathroom in the cabin are only accessible by using either of the stairs.

The spiral staircase down to the lower walkout basement room may be challenging for some guests with mobility issues, especially for small children or elderly.

Part of the charm of an a-frame is the small footprint of the design. Keep in mind our a-frame is 20’ wide and 36’ long, has low ceiling clearance at areas and cannot accommodate large groups of guests.
